What Paperwork Do I Need?
Driver’s License – First and foremost, our dealership needs to be able to confirm you are a legal driver with your driver’s license. Ensure your license is valid and hasn’t expired – it can also show proof of residence if needed.
Proof of Car Insurance — Almost every state requires you to bring proof of current auto insurance to show you will be covered for your new vehicle. You can contact your auto insurance company before purchase to quote what you’ll be paying.
Payment for Purchase – You can find out what payment options are available at Thelen Mazda before you even start the purchasing process. You can also ask about auto loan options. Our finance center is able to find excellent rates and terms for a variety of financial situations.
Proof of Residence – Above we noted that a driver’s license can prove residence, but we may want more than just your ID. Property tax bills, utility bills, current mortgage or rental agreements, and credit card bills might all be options you can bring.
Proof of Income – Lenders need to see proof so they know you can make your payments. Bring pay stubs or recent bank statements in order to prove your income. Our finance center can provide more details to ensure you bring the correct documentation.
