Thelen Mazda closed on Labor Day

Labor Day has become the unofficial date marking the end of summer.  However, its early days are actually rooted in the Industrial Revolution.  Tired of toiling for a living without even a day off each week, laborers in New York City took an unpaid day from work to march together in the first unofficial Labor Day parade.  This led to President Cleveland signing an official holiday into law in 1894.  The rest is history!

Thelen Mazda in Bay City, Michigan will be closed Saturday, August 31 and Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day.  No matter how  you plan to enjoy your Labor Day — a picnic, relaxing day off work, or a weekend at your favorite camping spot– we hope it is safe and enjoyable!
