Mazda now has the most 2020 IIHS “Top Safety Pick+ Awards” out of all auto makers! The Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) announced that the hatchback and sedan Mazda3, Mazda6, Mazda CX-3 and CX-5 have all earned this prestigious award thanks to great ratings and impressive safety features. In order to qualify for this award, a vehicle must have at least good ratings in six crashworthiness evaluations, advanced or superior ratings for front crash prevention, and good or acceptable headlight ratings. It’s a huge accomplishment for a vehicle to get this award; and it’s even more impressive that Mazda earned it for this many of their vehicles. Mazda’s i-Activsense range of safety technologies have helped with the Top Safety Pick+ awards which make use of cameras and radar that further enhance the consumer’s drive.
