Performance 

A new standard powertrain makes its home in the 2024 Mazda CX-90. A turbocharged 3.3L inline-six engine is paired with a 48-volt hybrid system in this setup. Depending on the trim of the CX-90 being driven, the powertrain offers varying levels of performance. Baseline trims get 280 horsepower, while those designated with an "S" unlock 340 horsepower. There is also a new PHEV powertrain option on select trims of the CX-90. This will combine a four-cylinder engine and an electric motor to offer 323 horsepower. Every powertrain is paired with a SKYACTIV®-Drive eight-speed automatic transmission and will boast AWD handling for premium mid-Michigan driving all year long.
